This is my favorite part of the South Bay to eat:

Hawaiian breakfast

15707 S. Vermont Avenue, Gardena

A diner inside a bowling alley. The Hawaiian Royal, loco moco and saimin. Expect a wait on weekends.

Thai

Sweet Rice

Michelin-listed. Puffy Thai omelets and khao soi.

Chorizo

The Chori-Man

2309 S. Alma Street, San Pedro

House-made chorizo, red and green, in burritos and tacos.

Seafood

San Pedro Fish Market

West Harbor, 760 S. Harbor Boulevard, San Pedro

The famous shrimp tray, now at its new home on the West Harbor waterfront.
