South Bay Real Estate and Neighborhood Guide

South Bay Neighborhood Guide

The South Bay

From El Segundo to San Pedro: the beach cities, Palos Verdes and some of the best food in Los Angeles.

Free Buyer’s GuideFree Seller’s Guide

The South Bay runs down the coast from El Segundo to San Pedro and inland to Torrance, Gardena and Carson. It is a string of separate cities, each with its own schools, rules and personality, which is exactly why one South Bay price or one South Bay strategy never fits.

Over the last year, 4,262 houses and condos of $450,000 and up sold across the cities in this guide. The median house went for $1,380,000, but that number hides a range from about $825K in Gardena to $3.81M in Manhattan Beach. I have closed sales and leases from Manhattan Beach to San Pedro, and Redondo is where I have done the most.
